Change in Google Images’ Search Interface

Google changed the interface of the Image Search page nearly two weeks ago. Some people say that it looks like Bing Images’ interface, which I find very impractical. If you think the old interface was better (as me), I can suggest a little plugin for Firefox. It basically redirects you to Google’s “basic” image search.

To work with this script, you need to install Greasemonkey plugin for Firefox.

It’s hard to understand why Google did such a thing, but actually there are some people that really like the new interface. This happens with the Facebook’s design changes, too. As always, we’ll get used to it.
