My New Graphics Tablet: Wacom Bamboo Pen

Yesterday I bought a new graphic tablet, Wacom Bamboo Pen. Actually, this is my first real graphic tablet if we don’t count the one that I bought from Dealextreme a long time ago. It was like a toy, so I threw it away immediately.

Anyway, after doing some research, I’ve decided that Bamboo Pen is the best choice for me. I was going to buy it from eBay (in Turkey, prices are higher than U.S prices so I try to buy that kind of stuff online) but I noticed that Vatan Computer offers a fair deal for 120$, so I bought it from there.

So far I’m really satisfied with the product. It has 512 levels of pressure sensitivity on the pen tip, which provides realistic touch. Also, the texture of the tablet makes you feel like you’re writing on paper. When you buy the product, you can download and license ArtRage software from Wacom’s website. (you need to enter your serial number for that)

I hope this tablet will help me develop my design style. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quality graphic tablet for a reasonable price.
