Hello Dribbble !

I have been looking for a dribbble invite for quite some time, and today I was lucky enough to be drafted by Gökhan Kurt, who is the Interactive Art Director at OgilvyOne. Dribbble is a great place for inspiration, also for connecting with other designers all around the world. Check out my first shot:

I will tell more about this project soon.

I’m also planning to redesign my website & portfolio, I hope to include the design process for every project and create my custom WordPress template. Check back for updates!

New Feature on 99designs: Staged Contests

Two days ago members of 99designs received an email regarding the new Staged Contest model. It is a new type of contest, and they say their aim is to improve the flow of a contest for both designers and contest holders.

Contests will now be broken up into 3 distinct stages.

Stage 1 – OPEN to ALL designers
Stage 2 - Contest holder picks up to 6 designers to work with more closely (shortlisting)
Stage 3 – Shortlisted designers refine their concepts and the contest holder picks the winner.

They are also going to do a promotion called “99 Most Shortlisted” to celebrate the launch of Staged Contests. The 99 designers who get shortlisted the most times between December 1st, 2011 and January 15th, 2012 will get a $100 bonus payment. It looks pretty exciting, we’ll see how it goes.
